Hey there, I’m Peter Bacon. Here is a little bit about me.

I was born in the small mountain town of South Lake Tahoe, CA. At the age of 6, I was homeschooled by my mom and step-father while we traveled the entire peninsula of Baja California, Mexico. Traveling has been instilled into my brain from when I was a kid and I truly believe it is the best kind of education anyone can get.
From an early age, I was heavily involved in both traditional sports and action sports. In my adolescent years, I ski raced competitively and was honored to compete in 3 Alpine Ski racing Junior Olympics. As time progressed, and I entered my later years of High School, I lost interest in skiing and focused all my time on the game of Soccer. I traveled 3 days a week to play on a competitive club team that was 2 hours away in Sacramento, CA. When it came down to college I picked to attend San Diego State University where I was invited to walk on the soccer team. Over time, I decided to join the club soccer team to give myself a life outside of sports and focus on the real task at hand which was getting my degree.
In 2010, I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Marketing (specialization in Integrated Marketing Communications) and a minor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Throughout college I worked as a valet attendant and Brand Ambassador for various beverage brands. After graduating, I landed my first BIG BOY job as the Area Marketing Manager for CytoSport (aka Muscle Milk). In time, I oversaw the entire Southern California region with 4 separate teams.
After leaving Muscle Milk in 2014 I found myself at an awkward time in my life which I consider my 1/4 life crises. I wanted to see more outside of the the USA and my mom had instilled in my head that the best education you can obtain is to travel the world. So, I bought a 1 way ticket to Europe and spent 3 months backpacking. I visited 9 countries and really “found” myself.
Soon after returning from Europe I was offered a job as the North American Marketing Manager for Italian motorcycle and mountain bike apparel company Dainese. I spent the better part of 5 years with Dainese (and AGV helmets) managing the marketing department for both the Moto and Mountain Bike divisions in North America.
After departing from Dainese in early 2020, I started my own small Media & Production company called Step Brothers Media. As the world was turned upside down with the COVID-19 pandemic, I focused my time on mastering my craft in Marketing and teaching myself new skills in content creation.
Last but not least, I married my beautiful wife Whitney in March of 2021. We have one fur baby, Rocky. And we have started a pet accessories brand (humBOLD) of our own. humBOLD is where hip dog owners can equip themselves with practical, yet unique accessories that enable you and your fur baby to feel prepared, and look good when you are on the go.
